Rollercoasters are scary…

When I was a kid, we went to Hershey Park and rode all the rides. My Dad and I were in the last car of this roller coaster that pulls you backwards up a hill, sits, and then releases you to do a couple of loops in each direction. They pulled us back and then we sat… and sat… and sat… waiting to be released. He screamed “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE” over and over again at the top of his lungs (could be heard across the park) until they finally let the coaster go and the ride officially began. I think about that every single time I get on a roller coaster and more often than not, I also scream ridiculous nonsense to make people laugh (and make other riders a little nervous…) ~Kate
