What’s a Zune?

I’m sitting here watching Big Bang Theory, minding my own business, and Sheldon is debating on getting an XBox One or a PS4. He says “now that I think about it, I stood in front of a case of iPods and I bought a Zune".” Amy responds, “what’s a Zune?” And Sheldon says “yup, exactly! It was an MP3 player brought to us by the makers of XBox…” and puts the XBox back on the shelf.

Why am I telling this story you ask?

When I was younger, the only thing on my Christmas wish list was an iPod. <In hindsight, this made no sense because I only listen to music when I have to do next to zero work to get it… radio and mindless streaming are the way to go…> It was THE hot item and I wanted one SOOOOO bad. Christmas rolled around and my Dad, so proud of himself, hands me a perfectly wrapped gift. It was the right size and I was SO jazzed. I opened it to find… a Sony mini-disk player.

What’s a mini-disk player you ask?
Yup, exactly.

My Dad apparently did a bunch of research and the guy at the store also insisted that it was a far superior product to the iPod.
